A space for you
to grow.

If…

You want to build a contribution.

But the path feels harder than it should.

And you know where your passion lies.

Then we have an idea…
The Gap

The system you’re in has no model of a human being. That’s an issue for entrepreneurs looking to contribute.

Most funders back exits. We back the world in which we want to live.

1
A bad deal.

As entrepreneurs, why do we build companies in the first place?

For most of us, the answer is because we think it will make our lives better. Yet examining what “better” really means is disincentivized from the start. Wealth, status, and genuine contribution are often lumped into one, an optimism upon which the system is all too eager to capitalize.

Many ventures fail, but even most of the ones that succeed do so based on terms we inherit, which often are not the ones we would have chosen freely. The path to greater coherence cuts against the default. And it is possible, if we set our gaze from a grounded place.

2
A modeling error.

Let’s start with a simple observation: our economic system has no concept of a human being.

The only way that you are legible is through the economic value of what you produce. In pockets, your relationships have meaning on their own, but in the context of the system, they register only as productivity inputs.

We can argue as to whether this arrangement has spurred progress in the past. But in the here and now, it clearly breaks a golden rule: treat others as you would yourself.

How Are You Modeled? YOU AS OUTCOME Traditional Funding YOU AS HUMAN Basic Decency Economics does not model the human being. What if it did?
3
An invitation.

If the problem is so obvious, why hasn’t it been addressed? Entrepreneurs are resourceful human beings, after all.

The answer lies in the fact that the container in which we create matters. And the container most of us are creating in has real limitations: capital that models contribution as “profit” and ethics as “risk,” and markets that care more about the “more” than they do the “what” or “why.”

Gaps precede opportunities, and the current one is huge: where are the human beings?

Start answering that question with us. Together.
